Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026. How we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. The short version

  • We collect what we need to run the product, nothing more.
  • Your deck is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for scoring and drafting. Anthropic does not train on API content under our commercial terms.
  • We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.
  • You can delete your account and data at any time by emailing hello@claudefundraiser.com.

2. Who this applies to

This policy applies to anyone who visits claudefundraiser.com, uses the web application, contacts us, or buys a plan. Claude Fundraiser is operated by Keystone Paradigm LLC, which is the “data controller” for EU/UK residents and the “business” for California residents under the relevant privacy laws. Legal and privacy requests can be sent to legal@claudefundraiser.com.

3. Your deck, what we do and don't do

Pitch decks are sensitive. Here is exactly what happens to yours, in plain English:

  • We do not train any AI model on your deck. Not ours, not Anthropic's, not anyone else's. Anthropic's commercial API terms explicitly prohibit training on customer content, and we do not run any internal training pipeline on user uploads.
  • We do not share your deck or any deck-derived data with any affiliated brand or third party. No other product, partner, or service has access to Claude Fundraiser uploads, scores, matches, drafts, or account data.
  • We do not aggregate one founder's deck into another founder's output. Each user's scoring and matching runs only against the public investor database and that user's own context. We do not pool decks to “learn” across customers.
  • We do not sell, license, or syndicate decks to investors, data brokers, or any third party. Investors in our database never see your deck unless you personally email it to them.
  • You can delete your deck and all derived data within 48 hours of asking. Email hello@claudefundraiser.com with the subject “Delete my data” and we will purge files, scoring artefacts, match rows, and email drafts. We will confirm in writing once the purge is complete.
  • Storage location: Supabase (US-East), encrypted at rest. In transit: TLS 1.2+. Access is restricted to a small number of named operators under least-privilege roles, audited monthly.

4. What we collect

Account data. Email, name (optional), authentication identifiers from Clerk, and timestamps.

Deck and company data. The PDF pitch decks you upload, extracted text, AI-generated scores, match results, and any investor outreach drafts or statuses you create.

Payment data. We do not store credit-card numbers. Stripe processes payments and returns a customer ID, which we keep to match your purchases to your account.

Usage data. Pages visited, features used, approximate location (country-level) derived from IP, device / browser type, and referrer. Powered by Vercel Analytics.

Communications. Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

5. How we use it

  • To operate the product, score decks, match you with investors, draft emails, track your outreach.
  • To process payments and grant plan access.
  • To send transactional email (password resets, receipts, product notices). We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
  • To debug, secure, and improve the service.
  • To enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.

6. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We use a short list of trusted providers. Each one processes only the data they need:

  • Anthropic, receives your deck content and prompt inputs to generate scores, match reasoning, and emails. Operates under Anthropic's commercial API terms; does not train on API content.
  • Supabase, hosts our database and file storage.
  • Clerk, authentication and session management.
  • Stripe, payments; receives name, email, and card data directly from your browser.
  • Resend, transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel, hosting, CDN, and first-party analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage keys that are strictly necessary to sign you in, remember dismissed banners, and measure aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Retention

We keep account and deck data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle refunds, audits, and legal obligations. You can request earlier deletion at any time. Payment records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Port your data to another provider.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@claudefundraiser.com. We respond within 30 days. Californians may also designate an authorised agent and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

10. International transfers

Our providers are mostly US-based. If you access the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

11. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest on our database and storage layers, least-privilege access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay and in any case within 72 hours where required.

12. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email to active account holders.

14. Contact
